🔒 File Lock Test - File System API

Test Instructions:

⚠ī¸ Note: This demo requires the File System Access API, which is available in Chrome/Edge on desktop. Must be served over HTTPS or localhost.

  1. Click "Select Directory" to choose a folder
  2. Click "Create & Write Test File" to create a file
  3. Open the file in Excel/TextEdit/another app
  4. Click "Try Writing (Should Fail)" to test the lock behavior
  5. Close the file in the other app
  6. Click "Try Writing (Should Succeed)" to verify it works when unlocked
